436 Topeka The studio of Su Stella will be collecting art supplies for the kids at the Renzi Center. She is selling, selling, selling….It’s the end of summer sale! It’s never too early to start your holiday shopping, come find that unique painting or piece of jewelry. Curt will have a variety of his leather crafts available too! Bracelet Designer Bj Harrison will be on board with her colorful bracelets with charms of Breast Cancer Symbols, Crosses & Stars.
230 Topeka: From pasture to wearable art-Meet Sherry Tamburo she will create wearable art using the ancient technique of wet felting. Demos all day and chalk art for the kids!
442 Olive St. - The Highland Roux is the base of our melting pot of artists and small business owners; every good gumbo starts with The Roux! The Roux [next door to The Sleepy Hollow in the heart of Highland] is a storefront incubator: a marketplace featuring locally owned businesses. This mini storefront provides opportunity for artisans, artists, collectors, and more! In addition to supporting local small business by functioning as a retail space, The Roux will also serve as a small event space for trunk shows, lecture series, workshops, author events, showcases, community meetings, and more!
420 Merrick- Daniel Cordell- He specializes in pyrography, wand making and Lichtenberg art. Using a special powder with resin the Lichtenberg art becomes luminescent in the dark. A must see process .
424 Dalzell – Come visit with Karen La Beau, Marci Hicks, Lynn Laird and Christina Francis. We will have a jumbo coloring sheet as well as the kids can make a bracelet to take home. Lynn Laird will break out her face paints! Half face designs will be free! Lynn will also be exhibiting whimsical paintings and illustrations. Christina will dazzle us with her latest gem creations.
328 Columbia- Marilyn Couch recycles discarded objects and incorporates them into her paintings. She won Best in Show in the 2015 Critical Mass Competition.
2410 Line Avenue-Suite Nine1Six-Come visit Highland’s newest clothing boutique. They will have cake and champagne while you view the latest fashions. Yes, cake, champagne and fashion. Does it really get any better than that? Owner Desiree Mingo opened this shop to bring modern and chic art all the form of fashion. Sizes small to XXXL are available. Limited number of grab bags will be available to kids.
